Settings Button Grayed out/Not Working

I love this plug in, but when I updated OBS it stopped working all together. I was on 27 then updated to 29, I updated to the .28 plug in. I can see the caption preview docked, and the window pops up when clicked through the top tools drop down, but in both places the settings button is grayed out and when you click on it nothing happens. I down patched OBS to 28.1.2 hoping I'd get the plug in to work, but still no dice. Is there anyone else experiencing this or may have some ideas? Thanks

Ohh that's weird, what OS is that and do you have any logs? (Help -> Log Files -> Show Log Files)
If it's MacOS make sure the old plugin is deleted, since the new one is named differently and could interfere I guess. 🤔

I'm on windows 10. I'll try to get a log tonight. When I checked the other night it said it loaded the plug in, like it was one of the only ones that actually loaded haha. But tonight my activity monitor dies, so I have that to deal with too. OBS is just not happy with me.

here's the log actually. I think stream elements is down, so that was my other issue haha

So I just did a fresh install of OBS, and I'm still having the same issue where I am unable to open the settings to select a source for the captions. I'm using OBS 29.1.3 on windows 10. I can get another log if that's helpful. Thanks again for your help

So I just got it working, I guess the issue was something with the settings window. The setting window wouldn't pop up, but if I forced it to maximize fullscreen it would work and I was able to edit it from there. But if you tried to resize it or move it, it would disappear again. So it's working just a little wonky for some reason haha thanks again though

This is the solution. I did fresh install and downgraded, making it full screen solves the problem. Thank you!
