I've created a module which integrates Ladybug with Drupal (only 8 at this stage). It's essentially a wrapper, which provides some additional Drupal-specific functionality (primarily dumping straight into Drupal's message area).
Happy to collaborate on on other Drupal-specific integration.
(As an aside, I'm also using it in Nutmeg, http://xtfer.github.io/nutmeg/)
