perf files contain ts errors

There are some errors in VSCode in perf folder:

source.spec.ts

emitter.spec.ts

Is it indeed the case or there is a problem with my local setup?

Yeah looks like perf files are a bit out of date

I've removed the perf directory in 1.0.0.alpha since ultimate performance is a non-goal anymore.
