Export Compliance information for Busmaster?

Opened this issue · 1 comments

It is the owners responsibility to ensure that the classification provided is consistent with your business unit's Export Compliance procedures. Please reference the Office of Export Compliance, or contact your business unit's Export Compliance Officer (ECO) for assistance.

So I'm looking for the following information so that the software can be used at the company. Hopefully someone can provide these information:

Country:
The Country field represents the regulatory rules used to arrive at the appropriate ECCN. At this point, the entry in this field is United States?

Category
This denotes the export classification assessed to the system. Typical choices include: 5D002, 5D992, EAR99 but may include others.

License Exception
This is the exception granted by the U.S. Government in the export of an item so that a license is not required. Typically the entries are ENC or NLR.

Date Classified
The date the system was classified.

Classified By
The name of the person who classified the system.

Classification Justification
This denotes how the application was classified. Typical Entries include: 'Vendor Provided Classification,' 'GM Self Classified,' or 'Commodity Classification.'

Hello SpacemanAJ,

Apologize in the delay in responding. BUSMASTER has an LGPL V3 licensing http://opensource.org/licenses/LGPL-3.0

Concerning the EU regulations this software is not controlled as the General Software Note is applicable.

I believe you had the same query over the ETAS sales & support channel. You shall receive a response from the ETAS sales channel in parallel.
