Dark mode theme issue on Windows

Describe the bug
In Windows 10, the titlebar uses the system theme, but the menubar does not.
Expected behavior
I would expect the menubar to be dark as well and the text to be light. With the theme as is, it is hard to read the menubar. Moreover, white/blueish outlines appear alongside the menus (including the right click menu). The checkmarks are not visible either (in the screenshot they are larger and thus easier to spot).
