I am seeing duplicate entries for blogs hosted on wordpress.com

Haven't come across that myself, so I can't reproduce. If you can debug this and send me a fix, I'll happily include it.
(Individual duplicate entries are common when an author re-posts content and their CMS generates a new UUID or feedparser detects other changes, and may not actually be an rss2imap issue)
