Is it support dropping a file into browser

For example, I would like to let user drag and drop file from OS to browser. When user drop it in a folder, it will trigger an upload action. Are there any example on someone implemented something similar?

and look like it is not supported, but seems someone have a work around on this, in case you also want to implement this, this thread may help:
