Introduction
While we have Android as a native platform that could arguably be used for 2D apps, there's no topic being discussed anywhere (that I know of) for devs to port their RN apps to Quest and publish to Quest Store.
Details
I have an Android & iOS app, and while I have the apk (which I can install on Meta Quest), there's no support for Quest Payments, or an API to help tweak the window bar menu (to, perhaps, add actions), and of course this would be a massive help for developers like me port their apps and publish into Quest Store.
Discussion points
- Quest Payments or third party services (which I understand, do not exist) like RevenueCat
- Window Bar action/title support
- Design guidelines for apps, or an UI/UX framework
- Quest 2D apps being web based (like Office) are really a let down especially given Quest can run Android apps natively.
