I tried this code and I can never see the comment just added. Is it supposed to work as written to display newly added comment?

The same problem. I tried it in different environments and never have new comment added. I assume there is some problem with $.ajax request? Ok, it may be not a React concerned problem, but I think it should be covered somehow in the tutorial as it makes React beginners stuck to figure out whats wrong.
Would be great if you could add any explanation why new comments are not added.
