๐Ÿ’ก Feature request: Custom CSS setting

Opened this issue ยท 2 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I find default UI too narrow but enabling "Wide UI" setting made UI too wide for my liking.

Describe the feature you would like to be implemented

A setting field to insert custom css.

Describe alternatives you've considered

uBlock filter:

# Compromise between normal and wide ui
safereddit.com##main>#column_one:style(max-width: 100% !important;)

The problem with this approach is if safereddit.com instance goes down I will have to remember to update my uBlock style rules along with redlib settings.

Is there already a good way to approach this that I'm not aware of? I want to be able to apply css styles to multiple domains (in this case redlib instances) and being able to toggle them on and off easily.

It might be quicker & easier to look at a browser extension like https://github.com/openstyles/stylus to implement this

@pimlie just tried stylus, it is fairy easy to add new url for style snippet, I will be using that for now, thank you :)

Still I think it would be better to apply everything in one motion when exporting redlib settings.

Up to the maintainers of course, this is great workout. Can be closed!
