Info/support request - Vivaldi Team concerns about Flatpak & Zypak

The Vivaldi browser team has been interested in creating an official Flatpak, but has expressed concerns about the sandboxing and security of zypak.

Can their concerns be addressed in order to make a Vivaldi Flatpak possible?

Update: I got in touch via Mastodon and am doing what I can to coordinate/support potential integration of the Chromium flatpak patches into an official Vivaldi flatpak. The Vivaldi team may have beat me to it.
