Can open exported file in numbers, but all the data is missing in excel

When I use the https://github.com/charlymr/ branch 2.5 I can at last get it to save a document that doesn't throw an error in Excel, but the resultant file is blank. Numbers, however, opens the file fine and I can see all the data.
Any thoughts?
