kws_doa.py is crashing after few seconds raising this error on raspbian stretch using the respeaker 4 mic hat for raspberry pi

Increasing VAD_FRAMES to 100 solved the problem without loosing accuracy neither performance.

it's still happening. it's only taking longer :(

left it running for a couple of hours and the error appeared again instead a couple of minutes like was before

Situation is a little better when running with pulseaudio
