Can we try pluggable screw terminals in the same space?

Look in to circuit design options that still allow space saving SPOX connectors but allow alternatives as well.

Pheonix Contact seem a good compromise, no crimp tool needed but pluggable.

only board not done is keypad as no space, so supply with plug and leads to solder.
