/Locate-pointer

If you have trouble seeing where the mouse pointer is on your screen, you can make it so that simply pressing a key will locate your pointer. Once this is set up, pressing a key will cause an animation to appear briefly at the location of your pointer.

Locate Pointer

Build locate-pointer with:

gcc `pkg-config --cflags x11 cairo` locate-pointer.c -o locate-pointer `pkg-config --libs x11 cairo` -lm

Enable locate-pointer-starter.sh command

Copy locate-pointer and locate-pointer-starter.sh to /usr/local/bin/

Enable locate-pointer-starter.sh on middle click

Add .xbindkeysrc to ~/. and add the following command to the startup:

xbindkeys -p
