FPS issues on D435i

I am getting ~2 Hz on the camera topics:

             /camera/color/camera_info                                             22 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/CameraInfo                 
             /camera/color/image_raw                                               22 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/Image                      
             /camera/depth/camera_info                                             22 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/CameraInfo                 
             /camera/depth/image_raw                                               22 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/Image                      
             /camera/infra1/camera_info                                            21 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/CameraInfo                 
             /camera/infra1/image_raw                                              22 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/Image                      
             /camera/infra2/camera_info                                            22 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/CameraInfo                 
             /camera/infra2/image_raw                                              22 msgs @   2.1 Hz : sensor_msgs/Image 

I want to run the simulation as slow as needed so that the framerate is correct, how can I do this?

A solution for this is to run gazebo with --lockstep.
