QSVEncC.exe finished with error!

Command line is:
"D:\VideoTools\QsvEnc748\QSVEncC64.exe" --avhw -i "P:\Rip\old\DVD, BD\xxxxx\title_t00.mkv" --video-metadata clear --metadata clear --chapter-copy -c hevc --icq 17 --bframes 6 --ref 4 --quality best --la-depth 99 --level 5.0 --chromaloc auto --colorrange auto --colormatrix auto --transfer auto --colorprim auto --dhdr10-info copy --output-depth 10 --avsync cfr --adapt-ref --adapt-ltr --adapt-cqm --audio-metadata 1?language=ger --audio-codec 1?eac3 --audio-bitrate 1?384 --audio-metadata 1?clear --audio-metadata 1?title="Surround 5.1" --audio-metadata 1?handler="Surround 5.1" --audio-disposition 1?default --sub-copy 1,2 --sub-disposition 1?unset --sub-metadata 1?language='ger' --sub-disposition 2?unset --sub-metadata 2?language='ger' -m default_mode:infer_no_subs -d 1 --gop-len 72 --mbbrc --vpp-denoise mode=auto_bdrate --vpp-detail-enhance 15 --vpp-edgelevel strength=3 --vpp-convolution3d ythresh=0,cthresh=1,t_ythresh=0,t_cthresh=2 -o "P:\Rip\xxxxx.mkv"

Removing "--vpp-denoise mode=auto_bdrate " resolves the problem. Also changing to "--vpp-denoise mode=pre,strength=30" works well.

try this 265 8/10-bit main = balanced with CQ

other modes are disabled for 265

if you want ICQ or ICQ Lookahead etc. then choose 264

at 264 all modes work without errors

@MrWGT

All supported modes will show when you run QSVEncC --check-features-html in a nice HTML view.
And at least for the A770, the ICQ option is listed in H265.

The problem was only with --vpp-denoise mode=auto_bdrate
But the version used at the time of the issue was 7.48, maybe try a newer version and see if the issue persists.
