Clarification on Distro Sorting by Base

SoftwareRat opened this issue · 0 comments

I wanted to raise a question regarding the organization of the Linux distributions in the guide. Currently, the distros are sorted by their base (e.g., Arch, Debian, Fedora, etc.).

As someone new to Linux, I find that this categorization may not be particularly helpful for newcomers who might not be familiar with the significance of these bases. It could be more beneficial to sort the distributions based on user experience level (beginner, intermediate, advanced), as this would make it easier for newcomers to find a suitable option without needing to understand the underlying architecture.

I believe this change could enhance the accessibility of the guide for users who are just starting their Linux journey.
Thank you for considering this suggestion!
