Tests for core interface?

A question: are there tests available somewhere for the core trace interface? For example, program binaries and golden references of the expected trace signals?

I'm asking because we're in the progress of adding this interface to Ibex, and it would be good to ensure that this interface provides the data expected by e.g. a Ultrasoc IP core using those signals.
