Auto-repeat on recent MacOS only works with keys that aren't capable
of inserting uncode options. With those keys (e.g. a), long-pressing
the key shows a popup to let one insert an accented key. But selecting
any key from the popup still only inserts the a. This is conceivably
a devdraw issue. Or related to devdraw.
