quick filter gets lost/changed if you enter a new filter after selection a quick filter

Closed this issue · 3 comments

Describe the bug
When I select a quick filter (from the Quick Filter menu), if performs the filter fine. But if I want to filter in a new way, it automatically replaces the quick filter with the new search term.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a quick filter and select it from the menu. (I used "-isLiberated")
  2. Enter a search term for a book and click the "Filter" button. (e.g., "crime")
  3. Open the "Edit quick filters..." menu item from the Quick Filters menu.
  4. The Quick Filter you saved earlier has now changed to use the term you just entered (e.g., "crime") instead of the original filter.

Expected behavior
I expect a saved quick filter to remain the same unless I specifically open up the Edit... menu item and make changes there.

I would further expect that if I hit the "Add to Quick Filters" button, that a new quick filter would be saved, not replacing the last one selected.

@Mbucari This works fine in classic. Can you see if it's a Chardonnay thing?
