Images not displaying on macOS Catalina Intel
Closed this issue · 9 comments
Neither the image display window or image creation window are not appearing in version 3.9.1. I'm using macOS Catalina (10.15.7) with an Intel i7 processor. It works fine on macOS Monterey (12.6) with Apple M1 Pro.
Ugh. So sorry. Can you check the console to see if you see any error messages for seashore and paste them here?
I test on 10.9 and 10.10 in a vm. Maybe a last second change broke something.
Also, would be interesting in joining my beta program to put a new release through its paces a bit before I release out to the world?
I just tried the latest release on 10.9 and it opened fine, so without your help I probably can't fix. Did you get a crash? Did you use "Send Report to Developer/Apple"?
edit: I am downloading a Catalina image to test
I did not get an obvious crash nor the 'Send report...' popup. I do see the following in the log.
{ID: app.seashore, PID[86257], auid: 3107, euid: 3107, binary path: '/Applications/Seashore.app/Contents/MacOS/Seashore'} attempted to call TCCAccessRequest without the com.apple.private.tcc.manager.check-by-audit-token entitlement
Thank you for the update. I am installing Catalina today. I will try and get this resolved tonight - day job and all…
@bryanmiller Is the Catalina Mac an official Mac or a clone? What hardware?
I was able to reproduce. I am working on a fix. Not sure what Apple changed... :(
Fixed in 3.9.2 which is available in the App Store. Not sure what Apple changed, but I needed to change code that hasn't been modified in 15 years. Oh well. Sorry for the hassle.
This is working well, thanks.
