Hi,

I believe this error only happens if you run the command and you do not have an open, active markdown file. Was that the case for your error? In the latest version (v2.6.0), this error should not be shown for that scenario.

Are you happy with the extension? If you have a feature request, you are welcome to add them. 🙂

Hm. I believe I did have an open, active Markdown file (I was trying a number of different TOC extensions). I tried again today, however, and it works smoothly. Is it possible that in closing and reopening VS Code, I received a newer version? I noticed that the commands/actions are labelled "Marky Dynamic", whereas I believe that on Thursday they were prefixed with "Marky Markdown". Regardless, it works now!
