Allow search-matches for 'similar' characters, i.e. "...e" matches "...ë"

So that it is more convenient to search for "Syrie" instead of having to type "Syrië".

Can there be inconvenient 'false positives'?

Possible solution(s)

• Add a (manual) 'alias-list' for specific characters (only).
• Maybe there is a npm-package for this?
