`curl` timeout problem with multiple downloads.

Not entirely sure, this was reported to me, but maybe we need to check some sort of timeout?

The message proper is:

curl::curl_fetch_memory(url, handle = handle) : Timeout was reached

This may be related to jeroen/curl#72. I can't replicate on my system.
