Create patch for solana validator?

Should we create a patch for solana validator that takes a command line argument --history-rpc and requests missing blocks or transactions from there instead of bigtable? It can be in the same logic as bigtable?

I do not see any blocks on this, we also can compare data from here with bigtable

It should work. Keep also in mind that old-faithful has its own fallback.
