Debate on RSKIP 358

I am reaching out on behalf of the Sovryn Community.

We are currently analyzing RSKIP 358. As any hardfork requires consensus. Sovryn - with the largest and most active community governance on Rootstock - will endeavor to facilitate active debate on the proposed hardfork.

This hardfork is of particular relevance to Sovryn, as it directly impacts funds sent by an attacker to PoWPeg as the result of an exploit. This needs further discussion within our community. We expect to launch a SIP with as little delay as possible. As soon as a conclusion is reached, a representative of the community will publish the Sovryn view of the proposal.

We expect that, in line with a community centric approach, RSKIP 358 will not be initiated by IOVlabs before the Sovryn Community has had time to do so.
