Does PHP7.4 support work correctly?

I have setup an action on this pull request and the project is using typed properties, which is a PHP7.4 but somehow the action gives me syntax errors.
It looks like 7.4 was added in this commit but somehow I am getting syntax errors.
Any ideas here?
