Updated by mistake. the upgrade guide is the smallest I have seen in a long time, basically updating composer.json shoud do the trick for this package

Ok Done. Versioned as 2.1. I did not see a need for a major version change for this.
Also added other improvements while I was in there to modernize this packages somewhat.
