Using this library as a basis for a SaltStack Proxy Minion

Dear maintainer,

I am atm evaluating if I am creating a proxy minion for RouterOS with the help of this repo. However, I would love it if this repo could be more actively maintained, to enable a configuration management system like SaltStack to have a stable base. Is there anything one can do to get co-maintainership for example?

I found out that there are other Python implementations that are endorsed by Mikrotik according to their Confluence: https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/API#API-APIexamples
