Need support for specifying LTS

I think it would be highly beneficial for a means of using "LTS mode" for plugins and the main package

Well, a simple case statement would probably do it in the yumrepo code, for EL's.

Specifiying LTS was in one of the patches. It doesn't work for LTS plugin's, though :(

That would require a programatic way to do plugins via the api. We don't do that now.
