Minutes from the matrix meeting:

  • @Lokathor: handle_alloc_error was close to being stabilized, but in the end it was decided not to move ahead. It's back to the drawing board, but no one is championing the issue as of yet. (#66740, #66741, #51540)
  • @Wodann: it seems impossible for us to host a remote session at the Rust All-Hands if none of the gamedev WG members are attending in person.
  • @Wodann: @XAMPPRocky kindly reminded the Gamedev WG leads (@AlexEne, @erlend-sh, @kvark) to join the Rust Zulip to get access to the project-leads and all-hands streams. That way everyone stays up to date.
  • @Wodann: the first draft of the Ecosystem Survey's Results was published by @erlend-sh
    • They'll grant access rights for the Google Form to the WG leads
  • @Wodann: with our feedback incorporated, @TimDiekmann has started merging the Alloc WG's proposed changes to the Alloc trait into Rust nightly
