Facebook breaks URL returned from getRegionURL()

Was looking through http://djer.roe.ac.uk/vsa/vvv/iipmooviewer-2.0-beta/lb.html
and decided to try iipmooviewer.getRegionURL() from the javascript console.

http://djer.roe.ac.uk/fcgi-bin/iipsrv.fcgi?FIF=/data/djer/mar/v5.tif&WID=0.0009301775147928994&RGN=0.4827826429980276,0.3391416666666667,0.0009301775147928994,0.0029&CVT=jpeg

is (when posted to facebook) transformed into

http://djer.roe.ac.uk/fcgi-bin/iipsrv.fcgi?FIF=%2Fdata%2Fdjer%2Fmar%2Fv5.tif&WID=0.0009301775147928994&RGN=0.4827826429980276%2C0.3391416666666667%2C0.0009301775147928994%2C0.0029&CVT=jpeg

It seems like encoding the commas fails. I will report this bug to facebook.
