Hi @alexanderhektor, unfortunately I don't really want to add any interface to the basic element, so I don't think it will get added into the SimpleSlider element itself... but at the same time it makes much sense to add an example page showing how to integrate touch gestures with the carousel element.

I'll leave this issue open until I find some time to add the new example page or until someone submit a PR doing so.
