handleToggle does not change the state for the first time

Hi there,

Thank you for maintaining this repo, it's been a great help.

I just wanted to share what it seems a small bug. When changing the state of variable in order to detect whether the chat is being opened for the first time, it looks like the handleToggle is not changing it. This is the CodeSandbox. Is this expected? Thanks in advance.
