Screen edge pressure not working

I'm running GNOME 3.20 with the dash to dock extension enabled. GNOME has a hot corner for activating activities, which requires a little pressure in the top left of the screen to activate. This doesn't work when using this driver.
Same when trying to show dash to dock, which requires a little pressure at the left edge of the screen to display the dock. This also doesn't work with this driver.
Other than that though, this has to be the best driver out there for multi-touch trackpads on Linux.
