whats up with the icon for tabbar, the icon white color is being transparent.

This icon type was changed to xpm-bw. Original black is changed to the face's forground color. Original white is changed to background color. I see the icon as:

I inverted the color for the bash icon and see the following:

The grey background matches the grey background of the mode-line:

So I think it is matching the mode-line. Does it look correct on the mode-line?

@ryuslash I could modify this in tabbar-ruler, but I would like to depend on a more recent version of mode-icons. Do you think we can increment the version? I'm unsure if mode-icons always matches the colors of powerline yet.

@mattfidler: Yeah a new release sounds sensible, is the change log up-to-date? If so I'll make a new release as soon as possible.

I think it is up to date.

thanxs every thing works now!

Now the tabbar should match the font of the tab, and possibly recolor the image if it isn't selected.
