Online references

  • Add to JabRef as Misc citation type. Use the name of the website as the author name to keep consistency with the [author][year] Bibtex key generation. Add website name as howpublished .See How can I use BibTeX to cite a web page?.

Journal vs preprint

Cite journal / proceedings if available.

Numbers

Using math environment ($$)

  • Use words for numbers up to ten.
  • Use $X$ for math numbers (see TeX.SE)
  • Use X for text numerals ("in contexts like '1776' and 'Chapter 5' and '41 ways', where the numbers are essentially part of the English language").
