Just A Few Things That Don't Work Since Using

Pre-Submit Checklist:

Which Website or Server are you having troubles with?

XCloud, PS Plus Premium, GeForce Now, Boosteroid, Plex, Jellyfin

Plex and Jellyfin seem to have been officially broken and require a reinstallation.

The others require me to turn Portmaster off, including spn.

What did not work?

Plex and Jellyfin can't find their servers

The game services just don't work, basically. The program launches and then... nothing.

Thanks for the info. Did you find a workaround for any of those?

Not really. I found the problem though. It's the DNS issue. They all have their own it seems. So since I don't know how to turn them off or even find out which one is their own, I can't really do anything about it. They do work in Portmaster, but not with spn on. I can isolate each one to run with spn off individually while keeping the other toggles on. So it's only a minor issue and actually probably something most people wouldn't have a VPN on for anyway for the sake of bandwidth, so really it's just a thing I noticed not working.

I should note that I had to fully uninstall Portmaster to even get Plex to be recognized from my PC to my TV. I'll be using Jellyfin, but it does have the same problem. I don't know if it's just me, but this is a big problem when you watch a lot of movies.

Hey @verifiedsyckozis, thanks for all the feedback!

If you up to it, we'd be willing to go through all the apps you mentioned and see what the problem there is!

I remember reading some interesting stuff about Plex and how they handle the local network connectivity.
You might need to turn off Enforce Global/Private Split-View to allow their uncommon methods.

Whenever you can find a blocked connection in the Portmaster, it will also tell you exactly why it blocked it in the connection details and in most cases will lead you to the responsible setting in order to change it.
