Caching?

Does this cache the lookups? How would we change the expiration?

Not at a library level, no.
It is worth mentioning that:
- some linux distros have dnsmasq for local DNS caching and set it as default DNS server.
- aiohttp uses aiodns when available and implements its own cache https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/blob/7cf5785f5383ee67756d0f8d86ea3516b823b940/aiohttp/connector.py#L615
