Issues with MInputMethodQuick.surroundingText inside HTML input fields

There seems to be an issue where MInputMethodQuick.surroundingText returns nil, when entering text inside a HTML input field. This breaks the experience with keyboards using XT9 and other features that depend on the surrounding text. This also seems to be an issue with Webcat and webPirate, but not with browsers running on Android. Not sure if this is related to PR #282
(I'm running Haapajoki on Aquafish).
