The bootstrap child theme for genesis. Have few questions..first is it free to credit me as the web designer using this just like with genesis sample? Does it take away any features from genesis parent theme such as schema and all that? I had been looking for something like this for a long time and excited to try it out. Thank you

Yes.

Does it take away any features from genesis parent theme such as schema and all that?

The scheme data should be unaffected. I do remove some page templates but this is generally considered a best practice when using Genesis. (They haven't been removed from Genesis for backwards compatibility).
