Option to set autosave and autodelete old saves.
Similar to how backups work, for example, to set autosave optionally every hour/day/week. Also, delete autosaves yesterday's hourly saves and leave one for each weekday and continue for the week, then after the two weeks delete all daily saves and lave just one per week and maybe keep them for the month or two, maybe unlimited but this will increase drastically database.
Not sure if this achievable, but maybe then make pop-up messages to remind to save and to do clean up.
Thanks for your time. Will buy a beer for you if you in London any time :)

By "autosave" do you mean something like: "I am browsing and opening tabs, and then at a given time the addon automatically takes a snapshot of all the tabs and saves them in a folder; do it every 60 minutes since."

Keep in mind that if you close a tab between snapshots, you will eventually lose them. Is this what you are looking for? Or more of a "remember forever any tabs I have ever opened"?

Sure, just save opened tabs at given time let say each hour or at least day. As I have bad experience with FF, in some circumstances I loose all of my opened tabs. It have to happen because of major update and after rebooting FF all tabs gone and no option to restore closed tabs. There is in history maybe somewhere but hell knows where if this tab was opened a week ago how you will find it in thousands of other links.
At least for me I have no problems to loose last save what can cause during FF close event if saves happening every hour, also in works case scenario recent history will help out.

Any news on this?
I was also looking for autosave, maybe at a custom interval?
I'm using this extension together with bookmarking sync to get my open tabs from different browser and computers. (it would be sweet if you also published it to the chrome store)

Let me take a look into it. Chrome store requires a fee, which I wanted to avoid. If I get autosave to work, I'll consider adding it also to the Chrome store (if testing goes well on Chrome too).

at least on Firefox, please.

Hello,
thanks again for your feature requests. I am pleased to announce that I just published 1.2.0 of the addon on the Mozilla store, where it is already available. I have also submitted it to the Chrome store and should be available there soon as well.

This release has autosave functionality. While it's not yet a full backup system, it does keep your open tabs safe. Please give it a try and let me know your thoughts.

If you haven't yet, please leave a review and/or rating on the Mozilla and Chrome stores: it helps growing.

Cheers,
Salvatore
