[BUG] U+2299 "⊙" binding is not effective

neither (alt + O + .) nor (alt + . + O) works.

If you look more closely, the keys for U+2299 is not the Latin letter O, but "an empty circle" key.

Hi, where is this key on the keyboard?

I doubt any keyboard has such a key. I too am curious why such rules exist in the first place.

They are APL symbols designed for use with an APL keyboard layout
