Hi @DeadstarIII, good that it's solved now. I'm guessing maybe you had forgotten to regenerate the font cache with fc-cache -f -v after installing the font?

hey, when I'm using the Emote app (it's a emote manager) it's showing the google noto emoji...
How do I fix it?

Emoji picker apps usually bundle their own emoji sets in order to avoid compatibility issues (e.g., the user not having any emoji font installed).

On some emoji pickers this is something you can configure though, e.g., x11-emoji-picker has the option useSystemEmojiFont to "use the system emoji font instead of the bundled twemoji images."
