When testing updates, sometimes updates installed over previous version are overridden by previous /usr/lib/python3.6/site-packages/UNKOWN-0.0.0-py-3.6-egg-info. As that directory is created by setup.py it seems safe to remove. After doing so the new installation should work as expected.
