Docker push is broken

Hi Heiko, mind having a look at this?

https://github.com/hseeberger/scala-sbt/runs/6037187433?check_suite_focus=true

Maybe you changed your password?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I do no longer actively follow Scala stuff.
Why not push the Docker images somewhere else?
Maybe forking this repo and then I can EOL it?

Sure, that's an option, I wonder if Scala Center would be interesting in taking over this project?
Preferably this would be some kind of organization instead of personal repository.

Hey @francisdb, thank you for taking over this project! I agree that it’s better if the project is managed by an organization rather than an individual, but I prefer if this is managed by you and the contributors of this project rather than the Scala Center. I suggest you create a scala-sbt organization on Github, and a corresponding user on Dockerhub. How does that sound?

@julienrf thanks for the quick response. Sounds like an option indeed, but let me first wait for a response on sbt/sbt#6904

@hseeberger was anything transferred on the docker hub side? I guess we can't just switch there as everything is under hseeberger/scala-sbt?

https://hub.docker.com/support/doc/can-a-repository-be-transferred-to-a-different-account

Why don't you change the build to push somewhere else?

build.yaml still contains "hseeberger", please change this to whatever name or organization is suitable.

@eed3si9n I created a docker hub free org https://hub.docker.com/orgs/sbtscala (scalasbt,sbtdocker, ... were all taken)

Do you have an account on dockerhub so I can add you?
I would then need so set up a secret on the repository.

for reference, how to create a free org:
https://docs.docker.com/docker-hub/convert-account/

@eed3si9n can I get access to secrets on the repo so that I can add my secret for pushing to docker hub?

@francisdb I just escalated https://github.com/orgs/sbt/teams/docker-sbt team to Admin on this repo. Hopefully that should give you the rights.

thanks, I can add secrets now

@hseeberger I wonder if there would be some way to point users to the new coordinates?

You could update the overview/description at https://hub.docker.com/r/hseeberger/scala-sbt
