Great project, thank you for making it! Consider adding a warning that you can run into problems with scala 2.10 - I work on a cross compiled library that just kept getting weird errors when I would try to run unidoc without specifying that I wanted it to run on 2.11.5.
Let me know if you would like more details about the errors I was seeing.

Akka project has been running this plugin on 2.10.x without problems. Maybe you had different scala versions for different subprojects? Not that I would know how that would result in errors.
