Hey, is there any reason why this isn't typed yet?

If not I'll put a patch together.

Probably only the fact that it wasn't in the original TypeScript definition that was imported.

3 years have passed, and this API is still experimental and not implemented by the majority of browsers. I believe we should close this as won't fix.
