Feature Request: Node and Edges via GraphML

The ability to use GraphML as the input format would increase interoperability with Python and encourage the use of standard libraries.

Thanks for the suggestion. This would indeed a great feature to have. Is there a particular use case that you can think of? It would be nice if you can provide these information. We can use this thread to brainstorm a nice interface so that it can be the most useful to you.
